Hi I'm Brittney!

I'm the owner, lead planner and heart behind Ivey and Co Events

I’m originally from a small farm town in Central California, where I learned the value of hard work, heart, and hospitality early on. After college—and a short but exciting career with the airlines (where I met my husband!)—I returned to the classroom to pursue what I believed was my dream job. But everything changed when I discovered the world of weddings and events, and something just clicked.

For six years, I was a full-time teacher—organizing, leading, and juggling all the details that come with working in the classroom. It turns out, those same skills made wedding planning feel second nature. What began as a side passion soon grew into a calling. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in many parts of the industry—from florals and venue management to day-of coordination and full-scale planning.

I’ve always had a heart for creating meaningful moments and celebrating the people I love. Whether I was planning my own wedding, a friend’s big day, or a milestone event, I found so much joy in every detail. That joy is what inspired me to start serving couples like you—to help make your vision a reality and create a day that reflects your unique love story.

When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me traveling, trying out new restaurants, or spending quality time with my husband and our sweet 9-year-old daughter.

I’m so excited to meet you and help bring your event dreams to life—faithfully, joyfully, and with a heart to serve.

Our Packages

Full Planning

For the Bride who just got engaged and wants to leave all the details of planning to us. This package includes partial planning +:

​

  • Coordination of Rehearsal Dinner

  • Review & negotiation of all vendor contracts

  • Budget Management Recommendations & Assistance

  • Customized templates and check lists to ensure we have everything covered

  • Custom Timelines & Communication for all Vendors & Wedding Party for Wedding Day

  • Participation in Vendor meetings & vendor communication upon booking

Partial Planning

For the Bride who knows what she wants, but isn't sure how to piece it all together. This package includes Month of coordination +:

  • Rehearsal the day prior to wedding

  • 1 venue walkthrough

  • Main point of contact for vendors

  • Review of vendor contracts + services

  • Set-up and Tear down of general decor items Assistance in booking 2-3 vendors of couples choosing

  • (Venue and Photo must be booked prior)

Month of Coordination

For the Bride who has all the planning done and just needs someone to ensure her big day runs smoothly. This package includes:

​

  • Unlimited communication

  • Timeline + Floor plan creation

  • Rehearsal the day of

  • 1 venue walkthrough if it is one I have not been to Assistance with Set-up (lighting candles, setting out welcome table items and signage, memorial table, tables numbers, seat cards in ceremony space.

  • Assistance with Tear down (packing gifts and personal items and setting them near the door)

  • Vendor coordination and communication 4-6 weeks prior to Wedding Day

  • Walk through at venue

  • Access to Recommended Vendor List

  • 1 Assistant for 190 guests or less, 2 for 191 guests or more

 

*Can add on full set up and tear down of all decor and anything not set by other vendors for additional cost.
